10 Wrestlers Who Couldn't Hide Their Anger At A Botch

2. Chris Jericho Does The Lord's Work

Shane McMahon really thinks himself the hard man.

Is it a bird?

Is it a plane?

No, it's Shane McMahon jumping onto an inflatable crash pad because he saw Mick Foley get over at King Of The Ring 1998. The stuntman gimmick was one thing. It was impressive. Protected, but impressive. It didn't rely on the premise that Shane was in any way skilled as a combat athlete.

So much of his stuff did rely on that frankly preposterous notion. Shane McMahon is not a hard man. He gets blown up walking around the place. He does a better job blowing himself up by doing f*cking nothing than Kenny Omega did with Jon Moxley at Revolution last year.

But, because he labours under the misapprehension that he's a hard man, he often hits his opponents in the face by accident, because he's also a terrible worker. This happened to Chris Jericho at Survivor Series 2016, who responded by flying out of the ring and kicking the sh*t out of various props because he needed to vent and not kick Shane in the face. It didn't work. He was still hot, so he blasted Shane with a pretty much full-force missile dropkick.

Shane taking that and continuing on probably convinced him that he was a worthy opponent to Brock Lesnar, so maybe Jericho didn't do us all a favour.
