'The Shakespeare Of Song' doesn't get enough love.

Fans and pundits are always quick to praise Rusev, who has become one of SmackDown's most popular acts over the past few months, and deserves every, ahem, accolade that comes his way. But what about his sidekick? The fact is that much of 'The Bulgarian Brute's' recent success comes from Aiden English, who has proven himself not only as an excellent supporting act, but one of the most entertaining characters on SmackDown.

It was the former Vaudevillain who opened this year's Rumble, working the crowd with a typically over-the-top Rusev introduction. Later, English appeared in the match himself, but lasted two minutes before Finn Bálor chucked him out. Such is his position in the hierarchy.

The Rusev Day gimmick has just as much do to with his over-the-top dramatics as the former United States Champion's all-round excellence. He deserves to be more than the Bulgarian's hype man. Whether in the tag division or as a US Title chaser, it'd be great to see him have his moment in the sun, though he's hardly in a bad place right now.
