Shout-outs to NXT commentator Beth Phoenix who once again dusted off her wrestling boots to step back inside a WWE ring, looking more impressive than she has at any point since first returning in the 2018 Rumble.

That's not to say that Beth has been anything close to "bad" in any of her appearances over the past few years. Rather, it's a recognition of how well she performed last night. Whether she was staring down Santina Marella or teaming up with Natalya, Phoenix looked very good indeed, and lasted an impressive 23 minutes out there before Shayna Baszler put her over the top rope.

Lord knows if Beth even wants to do one last run, but the opportunity is right there if she desires it. It's clear that she's far from a spent force between the ropes and while the NXT role offers stability for years and years to come, there could be money between WWE's ropes, particularly if the company use her as an established veteran presence to help younger wrestlers progress.

On the other side of the equation, the Natalya match basically makes itself after last night's double-cross...
