Current Finisher: Pop-Up Powerbomb.
Why It Needs Changed: KO's Pop-Up Powerbomb looks awesome on small-ish peers like Sami Zayn, AJ Styles, Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler. The problem here is that, on larger, less agile workers, such as John Cena (for example) it looks a bit clumsy. Owens would also struggle to perform it on WWE's biggest.
His Frog Splash, meanwhile, does the business. It's a nice homage to a fallen legend in Eddie Guerrero, shows off the fact that Owens is deceptively flexible and can be used on anyone from Tyler Breeze to Braun Strowman without issue. Maybe that's something for KO to think about when he returns from this kayfabe walk out on Raw.
The Pop-Up is ideal for cutting off a babyface's shine and getting Owens back into the match, so he shouldn't discard it completely. That said, it's time he moved onto something a little different or was allowed to showcase his agility.
Keeping that Powerbomb exclusively for vicious ring apron attacks may be the way forward.
