3. Roddy Piper: Highlander: The Series

Though his acting exploits never threatened to overshadow his wrestling career, Roddy Piper left a sizeable mark on the film and television industries, featuring in dozens and dozens of productions over the years. Most famous of these would be his lead role in 1998's They Live, through which one of his most iconic catchphrases was born...

"I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubble gum."

Given the volume of acting work Piper did throughout his 61 years on earth, there's a lot of bizarre sh*t scattered around. See his It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia guest spot for the most realistic portrayal of a broken-down old wrestler ever depicted in fiction.

An appearance in a 1993 episode of Highlander: The Series is what earns Piper his spot here. Playing the Immortal Anthony Gallen, he was a mad shagger by night and a brutal, cold-blooded killer by day, wiping out one man by running him over and another via car bomb. Decapitated by the end, he was a fitting one-episode villain for a show every bit as daft as the movies that spawned it.
