It may be strange to include a name on this list that hasn't even made it to the main roster yet, but Nia Jax is one such performer in NXT who belongs to an era that is long gone in professional wrestling. She more than serves her purpose on the developmental brand, but is there a spot for her in the New Era of WWE?

One major aspect of the New Era is the way that the women of World Wrestling Entertainment are portrayed, and whilst Jax brings an imposing presence to the table there needs to be more on offer. In a world of multi-layered personalities 'being big and mean' may not be enough for Nia Jax to bring any value to this so-called New Era.

Jax may very well find herself in a limbo of sorts, a performer who finds herself in NXT at both the right and wrong time.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
