10 Wrestlers Who Foreshadowed Everything

2. Becky Lynch

There may never be a WWE story quite like Becky Lynch's ever again.

It still seems backwards to say it considering what the company fundamentally functions to do, but WWE is simply not that well equipped to host such self-made megastars like 'The Man' anymore. As with CM Punk and Daniel Bryan's own marches before her, the rise was entirely organic in its origins, and when those in charge did take the wheel, they almost steered it off a cliff.

Following a SummerSlam 2018 attack on Charlotte Flair, Lynch was sent out to play the heel multiple times, each time to more deafening cheers than the last. WWE had missed what Lynch's fans had been waiting for for years. While still working as the 'Irish Lass Kicker', Becky cooly foreshadowed what she'd eventually do to Flair, if only because it had been done unto her so many times before.

Vince McMahon and his army of sycophants have lost sight of the dynamics of what makes somebody good or bad. Lynch, fortunately, knew exactly which way the audience would swing.
