As soon as WrestleMania rolls around, all WWE wrestlers develop an uncontrollable urge to point at giant signs. This annual phenomenon usually begins with the winner(s) of the Royal Rumble match, who celebrate their victory by jabbing a sweaty finger at the huge floating logo.

One man who tried to fight off this affliction was Randy Orton who, in 2009, made a right royal cock-up of the simplest action on the planet.

After winning the Rumble, Orton pointed at the WrestleMania sign expecting a load of pyro to go off. It didn't. He pointed again. Still nothing. And again. And again. And again. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing.

Rather than a tech error, Orton had simply forgotten that the agreed shot was him standing on top of the turnbuckle and pointing at the sign. The referee finally delivered ths message to The Viper and he climbed the ropes to point one last time and mercifully set the fireworks off.

As unfortunate as it is to see Randy's big moment ruined by a simple error, watching him get angrier and angrier as his pyro doesn't go off is just too funny.
