10 Wrestlers Who FORGOT What They Were Supposed To Do

5. Vader Forgets To Move

Big Van Vader should have taken the WWF by storm when he made his debut for the company in 1996. His freakish combination of size, power, and athleticism made him one of the most unique wrestlers on the planet and one that would surely succeed in the land of McMahon.

Unfortunately, McMahonland doesn't recognise Vader Time.

There are many factors behind Vader's career stagnation in the WWF, but one of the biggest ones was during the main event of SummerSlam 1996. Vader's biggest match to date - a WWF Championship bout with Shawn Michaels - took a gigantic turn for the worse when he forgot to move out of the way of a Michaels elbow drop.

At this time, you couldn't pay HBK to listen to the definition of "professional". The notable diva reacted just as badly as you'd expect to this miscue, stomping on Vader's head and yelling curse words at him.

Did Vader forget his spot? Absolutely. Would this have mattered if Shawn didn't act like a giant baby? Absolutely not.

Unfortunately, The Mastodon was just another victim of Michaels' bad behaviour during the mid-nineties, and his career would never fully recover from this one innoect mistake.
