On WWE television in particular, it's incredibly rare to witness a finishing manoeuvre be legitimately protected for nearly a decade. So, it's not too difficult to see why Baron Corbin was a little bit upset over the fact that his sacred End of Days was notably survived for the first-time-ever at this year's Show of Shows.

Had said dramatic kick-out have eventually led to Corbin having to resort to a new and even more impressive way of getting the job done or simply just picking up the victory at WrestleMania 38, there's every chance the now-Happy iteration of Corbin wouldn't have been as "heartbroken" over the loss of his perfect End of Days record to Drew McIntyre, with Corbin noting on the Out of Character podcast:

"...I think for me, I would have loved to save that for a big match with Roman Reigns or a moment where maybe I’m getting an opportunity to win a World Title and we can use that prior to winning or something like that,"

Instead, though, Corbin's all-conquering finisher being kicked out of was gifted to a Drew who likely didn't really need the rub.

And in the defeated heel's rather depressing additional words on the matter, "I mean, that was hard because that was kind of my thing. I don’t have a list of titles... But it made it nearly ten years, so that’s pretty awesome."

Justice for Corbin, I say!
