10 Wrestlers Who Had More Gold Than They Knew What To Do With

2. Kurt Angle

Triple H All Belts

Kurt Angle is another wrestler who is no stranger to holding more than one championship belt at a time. Shortly after his official WWE debut in 2000, he captured both the Intercontinental and European Championships, which led to him being dubbed the 'Eurocontinental' Champion.

But Angle wasn't done hoarding the gold there. Seven years later, at TNA Hard Justice 2007, Angle put his TNA and (IGF) IWGP Heavyweight Championships on the line against Samoa Joe's X Division and Tag Team Championships (which he was holding by himself, as you do). Angle won, becoming the second TNA Triple Crown winner and the only person to have held all the required belts simultaneously.

This gave Angle five different championship belts representing four different championships. Luckily for Angle, shortly before his victory his wife Karen had decided not to divorce him in favour of Joe after all, which meant he had someone to help him carry all that gold. Phew!

Ten years ago, Chris was sent to prison by a military court for a crime he didn't commit. He promptly escaped from a maximum-security stockade to the East Midlands underground. Today, still wanted by the government, he survives as a WhatCulture writer. If you have a problem... if no one else can help... and if you can find him... maybe you can hire...
