10 Wrestlers Who Had No Business Being Inside Hell In A Cell

10. Kevin Nash

Kevin Nash left WWE before the creation of the Hell in a Cell match in late 1997, but that didn't stop him from competing in one upon his return to the company in 2003. To WWE's credit, they told a solid story with Nash and his former friend Triple H going into 2003's Bad Blood event. After their outing over the World Heavyweight Championship at Judgement Day ended in fluky fashion, a Hell in a Cell match was made for the subsequent show with Mick Foley being appointed the special guest referee. Given The Hardcore Legend's storied history inside the cell, it was only fitting he officiated the matchup. They contested a pretty good match that saw all three combatants take many bumps and bruises, but Nash was far past his prime to be involved with Satan's Structure. Although he was medically cleared to compete after tearing his quad the year prior, he still moved gingerly around the ring and didn't have the performance he likely could have had years earlier. Thankfully for fans, Nash came up short against The Game and never participated in another Hell in a Cell contest in the remainder of his run with WWE.
