10 Wrestlers Who Had No Business Competing In Money In The Bank
8. Sin Cara (Money In The Bank 2011/2012)
Since the man behind the Sin Cara character was changed from Mistico to Jorge Arias for good in 2013, the gimmick has received somewhat of a reprieve from the WWE fan base, who have recognised that Arias (formerly known as Hunico) is a much more fitting performer to work under the mask in the company. Mistico just never really got going under his new guise, pretty much being an immediate disappointment upon his debut in 2011. Whether it was botching his entrance, failing to provoke an excitable reaction from the crowd or generally having sloppy matches, the guy was an aberration. WWE management had hoped he'd be the next Rey Mysterio, but he wasn't even the best Sin Cara. Even by the time the character was called upon to compete in the one of the 2011 Money In The Bank matches, he was treated with relative disdain from the audience, and was never really a popular choice to leave with a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. Being crashed through a ladder by both Sheamus and Tensai at consecutive events, Sin Cara should have been far more valuable to this kind of bout than he was.
