10 Wrestlers Who Had No Business Competing In Money In The Bank
9. Kane (Money In The Bank 2015)
For longtime fans, it's sometimes difficult to accept when a wrestler's career is coming to an end, but Kane is one of those guys that just doesn't have all that much to offer inside the ring anymore. An extremely popular go-to choice for WWE's creative team when Money In The Bank comes up in meetings, the 'Big Red Machine' made his sixth appearance in the gimmick bout at the 2015 edition of the Pay-Per-View show of the same name. Sadly, outside of being clobbered by the steel a few times, Kane didn't have all that much to do, and he was really just there to fill up numbers and keep the story going between he and Seth Rollins - if Kane had won, he would have become the number one contender for Seth's WWE Title, after all, but it was never really likely. Neville, Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler all showed what these matches should be about, and even Roman Reigns and Randy Orton held their own, but Kane looked like a performer on borrowed time, certainly coming across as one who shouldn't really be competing in these high-flying match types. The man has his place on the roster, but it's maybe time he shied away from Money In The Bank.
