10 Wrestlers Who Have Had Enough Of WWE's Sh*t

2. Zelina Vega

An unlikely WWE comeback played out in July, as Zelina Vega re-emerged following her late-2020 release, her issues with the promotion's restrictive third-party platform ban seemingly resolved.

Vega has since gone winless on SmackDown. She is sitting on a 0-9 record for 2021 and shows no signs of upward momentum, having been established as the lowest wrestler on the roster through constant defeats. Despite this, she remains on the title scene's fringes, undermining the belt's credibility and her own.

Things got worse on the 10 September episode, when WWE pulled Zelina's planned match on a night full of 9/11 tributes due to time constraints. Vega, whose father died in the terrorist attacks, had to wait until the following week.

Where she lost again.

Her situation becomes sadder, too, when considering Malakai Black's explanation for his wife re-signing with WWE:-

"My wife was crying because she knew. She was about to come back. One of the main reasons she wanted to was because I was there, which was more or less the driving force, other than promises they made her."

Black was released on 2 June, seemingly after his wife had agreed to return.

Cruel.
