10 Wrestlers Who Have Suddenly Disappeared

Here one minute, then gone the next. When will we see these wrestlers again?

There's no doubting that when the 'Murderhawk' made his way to AEW in 2020, alongside Jake 'The Snake' Roberts, it was treated as a big deal. He oozed menace but over the years, terrible booking has rendered him redundant and he fell off of AEW TV for so long, it was a genuine surprise when he showed up on Rampage last month for a needless squash.

Just dropping from TV isn't helpful booking. Sure, there are some wrestlers who outstay their welcome and need a refresh (think Dolph Ziggler), but when a wrestler just disappears and is then reintroduced with little to no explanation or update to their character, it's hard to get invested. Sorry Mr. Archer, but it's true.

But he isn't the only one, and All Elite Wrestling isn't the only company guilty of such sloppy talent management.

Now, whether the following list of wrestlers are stars that would significantly impact the card is up for interpretation. The fact is, they were heavily featured on the weekly programming, some in some pretty serious spots, and then were dropped cold. Nobody truly knows what goes on behind the scenes in these wrestling companies, but you have to think that either they were perceived to drop the ball they were thrown, or perhaps someone just didn't fancy them?

Either way, these wrestlers seemed to vanish without so much as a trace.

10. Dana Brooke

Everyone loves a trier.

Having made her main roster debut seven years ago, it's safe to say that Dana Brooke has never really kicked on. Not everyone is destined to be a main event talent, and there is nothing wrong with just being a regular face within the division. That's always been Brooke's ceiling, and you have to give the woman some credit: she has thrown herself fully into most of the tripe that WWE have served up to her.

No, she's not a Becky Lynch or Bianca Belair, but Brooke has been a staple on the show for the past few years, whether that's being thrilled to be crowned 24/7 Champion, having a terrible marriage storyline with Reggie, or thrown into a number of make shift tag teams in the genuinely terrible women's tag division. She was always just sort of there.

Things have certainly changed under Triple H's booking, but for the women's division that hasn't necessarily been for the best. With the 24/7 Championship binned off (literally), there seems to be no place for Brooke in the current malaise of the RAW women's division.

Is she missed?

Seems harsh to say she's not, but beyond a forgettable appearance in the Royal Rumble, the last time the Ohio native was seen on Monday Night RAW was back in November.

Since then, she's been an exclusive of Main Event, and that's hardly must watch TV at the best of times.
