10 Wrestlers Who Have Suddenly Disappeared
9. The Good Brothers
It was no real surprise when the smartest men in professional wrestling made their returns to the WWE back in October 2022, especially as Triple H was on a mission to rehire everyone that had been let go in the preceding two years.
It makes sense. Gallows and Anderson are recognisable names, come with an inbuilt fanbase and already have a connection to the main roster in AJ Styles. In the few years since they were sent packing by the WWE during their hideous pandemic-inspired cull of wrestlers, the duo have been on a roll.
They were a key part of AEW for a while, won the IMPACT Tag Team Titles three times, as well as Anderson picking up the NJPW NEVER Openweight Championship, which he still held when he re-signed with the fed.
With AJ Styles feuding with the Judgment Day, it was a sensible return, and the welcoming pop from the crowd was proof in itself. But the bloom quickly fell off the rose, as Styles went down with an injury and the Good Brothers were just sort of there. They had two matches with Alpha Academy in December, and their only onscreen appearance in 2023 was part of the 2023 RAW Tag Title gauntlet in January. Which was won by their previous rivals, the Judgment Day.
For all the praise that Triple H has quite rightly received since taking over the reigns, the comebacks have kind of sucked, haven't they?
