10 Wrestlers Who Jumped Ship (And Ruined Their Careers)

6. Chris Harris (TNA To WWE)

Braden Walker

A wrestling meme before memes were even a thing, TNA's former 'Wildcat' will always be associated with one line, and one line alone: "I'm Braden Walker, and I'm going to knock your brains out."

Harris' blink-and-you'll-miss-it (WW)ECW run was legendarily bad. Out of shape and out of sorts, he showed up in July 2008, spitting the above line with the energy and enthusiasm of an elderly slug. He beat Armando Estrada in his debut, then bested James Curtis in another match soon after. That was the extent of Walker's WWE career, though: the company let him go just 30 days after his televised debut.

A sharp downturn in fortunes from his TNA days, then. As one half of America's Most Wanted with James Storm, Harris had established himself as a tag specialist, winning the gold on seven separate occasions. Unfortunately, he came nowhere near recapturing that form after initially leaving the promotion. Post-WWE, he bounced around the lower-tier indies without every making any headway, and not even a TNA return in 2011 could revive his flagging career, as Harris faded back into the abyss soon after.

At least we'll always have the memories.
