10 Wrestlers Who Just Don't Care Anymore

7. Bad Luck Fale

Once upon a time, Bad Luck Fale was a credible monster heel in New Japan Pro Wrestling. While never the most thrilling to watch, his slow, bruising style contrasted with the rest of the roster, and he always looked solid in matches with the likes of Hiroshi Tanahashi and Kazuchika Okada. Fale was once effective enough to believably wrest the IWGP Intercontinental Championship from Shinsuke Nakamura's clutches, in fact. He wasn't pretty, but he filled the role - and he worked.

The same can't be said for the Bad Luck Fale of 2019.

Today's 'Rogue General' doesn't even deliver against the Okadas of the world anymore. He's slower, less mobile, and less convincing than ever, and those effort levels just aren't there. Perhaps this is understandable. Fale is 37 years old, close to 350lbs billed, and spends much of his time running his Fale Dojo in New Zealand. That's his future, so you can see why the big man may choose to pour more energy into that than NJPW, where he's a bit-parter between the ropes but a more important figure behind the scenes.
