Like most of the stars on this list, The Rock was never in bad shape. The former college and pro football player came to WWE in 1996 with a muscular body that helped in his ascent up the card. By 1998 he was WWE Champion, and the next year he became the top star in all of wrestling. By 2002, he put his full-time WWE career aside in order to act in major motion pictures.

During Rock's first run, his build was athletic - he had big muscles, but in a way that seemed to aid in physical competition. He looked like a guy who was less concerned about body fat percentage and who focused more on building a physique that could withstand the specific pressures of a WWE Champion's schedule.

After leaving the sport, though, The Rock got more interested in bodybuilding - this coincided with his rise as an action star and, eventually, the hottest actor in Hollywood. When he came back to the company in 2011, he boasted a body that was both ripped and huge, a must for the big screen. Though he suffered injuries in matches with John Cena, the new bod is here to stay.
