Let's be clear for the Olympic gold medallist, despite making Chris Jericho tap at least twice in his career, both these known occasions were not on TV, they were at non-televised house shows. When you consider how many people Kurt Angle has tapped out to the ankle lock over the years, you would've at least thought he would've made Chris Jericho tap on Raw on Smackdown but that isn't the case at all.
On both known house show occasions, Kurt Angle was defending his WCW United States title as the Invasion angle was near it's last legs, with one week to go before Survivor Series. While details are unclear of what actually happened in the match, it's clear that Angle won both matches via submission. We may never have seen it officially on TV but at least we're in the knowledge that Angle submitted the G.O.A.T.
