10 Wrestlers Who Made Chris Jericho Submit

6. Ric Flair – Summerslam 2002

An iconic event is Summerslam 2002. Brock Lesnar beats The Rock for the WWE Title, Shawn Michaels makes his long over due return to the squared circle in a monumental unsanctioned match, and Ric Flair defeats Chris Jericho with the Figure Four Leg Lock. This feud did showcase Jericho's band Fozzy for one of their first television appearances, until Flair decided to attack Jericho in the middle of a song on Monday Night Raw.

The match in question was a classic Ric Flair match. Jericho as the heel, whilst Flair still uses underhanded tactics to win. Case in point, Jericho decides to lock in his own Figure Four to Flair, as Flair grabs the ropes he taps out at the same time, causing Jericho to think he had won the match. Unfortunately for him arguing with the referee led to a small ref collision. This led Flair to become the dirtiest player in the game and low blow Jericho before latching in his own patented Figure Four for the victory.
