10 Wrestlers Who Married Their Fans

7. Edge (Beth Phoenix)

Is this a stretch? Maybe, but Edge was already dishing out spears aplenty on WWF television when a young Beth Phoenix started working independent dates herself. That happened back in 2001, meaning Edge had been on TV for a full three years by the time Beth worked her first proper match.

It's safe to assume she would've been watching the product at the time anyway. If so, then she definitely would've admired some of Edge's biggest moments, including the original TLC matches and his King Of The Ring win. All of that occurred before Phoenix inked a developmental deal in 2004.

Amazingly, it'd be years before she and Edge ever properly met. They bonded during an 'Edge Appreciation Night' segment in 2011, and their relationship blossomed from there. It became obvious early on that they were madly in love, but Beth had probs watched her man bump off ladders a decade or so before they got together.

Mad.
