10 Wrestlers Who Must Return To Impact Wrestling

9. Mr. Anderson

Mr. Anderson joined TNA with high hopes. His WWE run ended on a down note, and he seemed to have a ton of untapped potential. While he did capture the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, he still never felt like a top player. However, the booking team behind him was a constant mess, with major changes in power continually shifting behind the scenes during his time there.

His character turned too many times, and he was involved in so many bad feuds (Sam Shaw, Bully Ray) that any excitement around him was long gone by the time he exited the promotion. At 41-years-old, he’s not likely to be the top guy over the course of the next couple years, but he could still be valuable as a featured performer.

Ken has proved he can be a great talker on the mic, which is always a valuable asset for any promotion. Once his days as a wrestler wind down, he could transfer over to the role of a manager or onto commentary. He’s also running a wrestling school in Minnesota (along with Shawn Daivari and Molly Holly), and could help provide new talent for the promotion when they’re ready.

After catching so many bad breaks throughout his career, it would be nice to see Ken go out on a high note. A reunion between him and Impact with a clear creative vision in place could be beneficial to both parties.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
