10 Wrestlers Who Need A Dean Ambrose Style Makeover

4. Chad Gable

Why: Imagine Charlie Haas with a few inches of height knocked off and longer hair. That's Chad Gable. Another comparison could be Kurt Angle, though there's been no sign of Angle's duck-to-water promo abilities since Gable went solo.

On Raw and all alone, Chad needs change.

Suggestion: The long bangs and headband combo make poor Gable look like he's about to job for Hunter Hearst Helmsley on a 1995 edition of WWF Superstars. They'd be the first things to go, and so would that singlet. Just like ex-tag partner Jason Jordan, Chad has a deceptively great body to show off, and he should be flaunting it.

The amateur wrestling gimmick is all well and good, but it has a low ceiling in a company like WWE these days (unless, as hinted at, a wrestler possesses the charisma of Angle). Gable would be best-served adding another string to his bow appearance-wise, rather than coming across as just a nuts-and-bolts grappler.
