10 Wrestlers Who NEED Out Of AEW

5. Keith Lee

It is important to talk about the various health issues and injuries Keith Lee has faced over the past few years, because it'd be unfair to put blame for his mediocre AEW run squarely on Tony Khan. If anything, Khan deserves praise for standing by Keith throughout it all. However, let's not pretend his All Elite career has been worth much.

Lee had serious steam behind him when he left WWE in 2021, and people figured AEW would make the most of him from 2022 onwards. Nope. Keith was mired in a tag-team run alongside Swerve Strickland, then the feud that stemmed from that was interminable and spotty to say the least.

Big Keith could use a change of scenery again.

Things just haven't worked out for him. Yes, health and injuries has been a major factor, but AEW blatantly don't have a clue how to book him effectively. Lee's best era came under Triple H and Shawn Michaels' watch on NXT. He sorely needs that sort of stability in 2024.
