If Ethan Page visited a fortune teller, he/she would probably tell the dude he's doomed to be kayfabe contractually tied to Matt Hardy for the rest of his days. That storyline has been going on for what feels like forever, and it's mind-numbing stuff. Besides, what has it really done to elevate Page?
The whole thing is boring fans to sleep.
Page looked like he was destined for big things whilst teaming with Scorpio Sky. Then, Tony Khan plonked him into the midst of the new Firm stable, and everything seemed rosy. That didn't pan out though. In fact, the Stokely Hathaway-led Firm was downright terrible.
Now, Ethan is hanging onto the coattails of The Hardy Boys and working some unwilling buddy comedy thing. It's tedious as all hell, and it's a complete waste of somebody who was once considered a can't-miss prospect in IMPACT Wrestling.
Might be best if Page sends feelers out elsewhere. It'd be nice to see him get more focus.
