10 Wrestlers Who Never Competed In A WWE Ladder Match

9. Billy Gunn

Another surprising name, and one that doesn't come alone. Despite being integral parts of the Attitude Era, the only members of D-Generation X that competed in a ladder match of any kind were Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Billy Gunn, Chyna, Road Dogg and X-Pac all missed out on the match, although the latter did take part in one ladder match in WWE.

So with that in mind you could place any name you like at the top of this entry, but for me Billy Gunn is the most surprising. You'd assume the New Age Outlaws would have taken part in a ladder match at some point, or that Gunn would have featured in one during one of his many failed singles runs.

You'd be wrong, as The One still waits for his first ladder match. If you're wondering where Billy Gunn is today, you'll be surprised to hear he is tearing it up (seriously) in the NJPW World Tag League, teaming with Yoshitatsu.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
