10 Wrestlers Who Never Competed In A WWE Ladder Match

5. Raven

In one of the strange statistical anomalies that the Attitude Era threw up, Raven has somehow become one of the most decorated superstars in WWE history, with 36 total championship to reigns to his name in WWE, WCW and ECW. 36 championship reigns shouldn't be sniffed at, right?

Well, 27 of them were Hardcore Championship reigns, one was a one-day United States Championship reign, he held the WCW Light Heavyweight Championship for 15 days and one of his ECW tag reigns didn't last the night. Raven is a legend of professional wrestling, just not for his championship reigns.

More surprising is the fact that Raven never took part in a ladder match under the WWE umbrella. For a man who took part in a whole host of brutal battles with plunder-a-plenty you'd assume a ladder brawl would be included in there somewhere.

Raven did go on to have a ladder match with AJ Styles in TNA however.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
