If this list is made again in a year's time, the smart money would be on Rusev not being a part of it. It is yet to be confirmed whether RAW and SmackDown Live will have separate Money in the Bank ladder matches in 2017, but either way I would say it is likely that Rusev will compete in a ladder match next year.

He's sneakily avoided them to date however by being tied up in United States Championship programs at those times. When Money in the Bank 2014 came around Rusev was still new to the company, although he only just missed out on the main event ladder match after being eliminated by Roman Reigns in a qualifier battle royal.

The following year the Bulgarian Brute was injured, and this year he found himself defending the United States Championship against Titus O'Neill. No ladder match yet for Rusev, but the key word there is yet.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
