Nick Bockwinkel was also in that Battle Royal alongside some old peers.

Bobby Heenan's pal experienced huge success in the AWA during his peak, but would never really wrestle for either Vince McMahon Sr or his son. Perhaps this is cheating though, because Nick did work a tag bout on a co-promoted WWF/International Wrestling card in 1984 - there, he teamed with King Tonga vs. Dino Bravo and Rick Martel.

That wasn't an official McMahon production though. The WWF boss loaned some of his stars to the Quebec City-based company, and it certainly wasn't a regular occurrence to see him co-brand; especially when Vince started aggressively monopolising the market nationwide, and eventually globally.

So, Bockwinkel's only official WWF match came on that 1987 house show in New Jersey. He'd make several WCW appearances after that, but wasn't on WWE programming much at all before his 2007 Hall Of Fame induction. That came for contributions to wrestling as a whole, and was richly deserved.
