10 Wrestlers Who Peaked In 2019

1. Bray Wyatt

Is there more that WWE could do with 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt? Absolutely. Has Wyatt himself likely got a whole slew of creative ways to take the character forward? Most definitely. Do we all really trust WWE not to drop the ball on The Fiend, sooner rather than later? That's the bigger question here.

After promising so much for so long, Bray Wyatt finally made himself the hottest star under the WWE umbrella in 2019. Whether it was water-cooler buzz, social media meltdowns, or merchandise numbers, Wyatt has been knocking it out of the park with his latest, most twisted creation.

2019 was a fantastic year for Bray. From an also-ran who fans had lost faith in, to the most dominant, must-see act in the company, Wyatt is over to a ridiculous degree. Not only is he the current highest merch seller in the company, but those Undertaker comparisons are maybe - just maybe - starting to have some legitimacy to them.

The thing is, how long can WWE ride this train without ruining The Fiend? If we're being honest, there's a good chance that WWE is going to do something stupid with The Fiend in 2020. Whether that's over-exposure, whether that's how they handle the character's inevitable first loss, or whether that's merely fans being fickle and wanting something else, it seems an impossible ask for Bray Wyatt to ever be as hot again as he's been in 2019.
