Let's be honest; there's not much that William Regal did in the ring that you couldn't call perfected. One of the most convincing and technically sound wrestlers of his generation, Regal owes much of his move set to traditional British style wrestling, and this move is no exception. A favourite of the likes of legendary shooter and pro wrestling icon Billy Robinson (who all wrestling nerds should check out), Regal executed this move absolutely flawlessly.

There is something undeniably satisfying about the move, with the strength required to execute the heave, and the flat-back bump to finish the move off. It is a move many have used over the years, which makes it all the more pleasurable to watch it executed by an undeniable master of the craft like Regal. Regal's excellent mic-work in recent times for AEW can't help but make wrestling fans wish we could still see the man's man take opponents to school in the ring.

Fortunately, his classics with Benoit from the early 2000's are still there to be viewed on Youtube, any time you feel like seeing what old-school technical wrestling at it's finest looks like.
