10 Wrestlers Who Performed Their Own Theme Songs

5. Hardcore Country - Mickie James

Used during the wrestler's stint in TNA, and a brief appearance in the 2022 Royal Rumble, this song highlights her fantastic voice, blending it with somewhat simple lyrics, and riffy guitars.

Layered with a clap track that is often seen in a negative light among moustache-twirling country fans, Hardcore Country works wonders in the professional wrestling circle, as it allows for crowd participation that only serves to heighten the atmosphere in the room.

The song oozes 2000's style, and while it won't be mistaken for Luke Combs, or Kacey Musgraves, it's a rollicking good time, and one that perfectly captures the essence of other, more prominent, party-inspired country tracks.

The vocals are fantastic, too, which is likely down to Mickie James' success as a country artist. Hardcore Country was released as her second single in the winter of 2010, and the use of it as her theme likely helped its digital sales, being that it remains one of the most memorable in TNA.

If the job of an entrance theme is to bring the crowd to their feet, Hardcore Country succeeds with flying colours.
