10 Wrestlers Who QUIT During WWE Raw
7. Gail Kim
While the likes of Neville understandably were having none of it upon hearing what they were being tasked with executing on the Monday Night stage, Gail Kim had other ideas during what would turn out to be her final appearance under the WWE banner.
After being informed by management that she would be eliminated embarrassingly early in a battle royal to confirm the new number one contender for the Divas title, the one-time Knockouts Champion opted to instead dump herself over the top rope out of the gates in one of the most surreal turn-of-events you're ever likely to see on the red brand.
Sure enough, following on from this shocking development, Kim stormed straight backstage and told John Laurinaitis she was done with the company, explaining her reasons for doing so a few months later whilst speaking to Power Slam:
"It was about my life and my happiness at that point, and having control of my life again. It felt good to know that I made that decision for myself. I wasn’t going to be unhappy anymore. And, most of all, I just wanted to wrestle again."
Kim would eventually return to Impact Wrestling before calling it a day as a hugely influential in-ring performer in 2019.
