10 Wrestlers Who QUIT During WWE Raw
4. The Rock
While The Great One may not have explicitly walked out on the company during the highly anticipated Monday Night offering that follows WrestleMania, The Rock did ultimately make the decision to swerve said post-Mania 29 Raw and subsequently canned what were looking like some seriously mouth-watering plans in the process.
With Rocky suffering a hernia, torn abductor, and torn abdominal muscle during his Show of Shows WWE title loss to John Cena, instead of making his previously announced appearance on the red brand the following night - a showing that would have supposedly seen The Rock battle against Cena in a WWE title rematch - the Hollywood megastar opted to begin treatment on his injuries after a conversation with the boss. This is contrary to some claims that The People's Champion was annoyed about last-minute changes to the planned 'Mania 29 finish and backed out of the Raw appearance out of spite.
This injury-induced decision would lead to exciting plans involving Brock Lesnar jumping his SummerSlam 2002 opponent during his time on that Raw after 'Mania being scrapped, too, and the pair's subsequent battle at 'Mania XXX being indefinitely shelved.
