10 Wrestlers Who QUIT During WWE Raw
3. CM Punk
Acting as one of the catalysts behind his eventual messy departure from Vince McMahon's Sports Entertainment extravaganza, CM Punk's dropping out of the main event spotlight in favour of "Dwayne" coming into 'Mania 29 proved to be the beginning of the end for the Voice of the Voiceless.
After then sensing he may have suffered a concussion during the 2014 Royal Rumble match, WWE's bizarre testing policy, among other things, before the following night's Raw pushed The Best in the World over the edge. Before long, Punk was demanding to speak to McMahon in his office and months of frustration were soon inevitably let loose on his employer.
Calling out WWE's decision to bring back Dave Bautista as a babyface, their lack of interest in protecting their workers, and a string of other empty Vinnie Mac promises, to seriously name but a few, Punk's love of wrestling was very much dead and he wanted out of a company that he felt was risking his health.
Thankfully, this would merely act as Punk's departure from the world of Sports Entertainment, with the Straight Edge sensation making a dramatic return to wrestling with AEW last year.
