Debuting in 1987 as the bodyguard for ‘Million Dollar Man’ Ted DiBiase, Virgil never really excelled in the wrestling business. Always in the role of a lackey, Virgil displayed little personality in the ring or outside of it.

Leaving WWE in 1995, Virgil resumed his role in WCW. Under the name Vincent, he was involved in several minor nWo storylines throughout the late '90s. Virgil left WCW in 2000.

From there, the head of security wrestled on several small independent shows and made a short return to WWE as Ted DiBiase Jr’s henchman in 2010.

Since the early 2000s, Virgil has been attending a large number of wrestling conventions, and due to the lack of fan interest, the ‘Lonely Virgil’ meme has become popular online. In 2016, The Million Dollar Man revealed in an interview that the two no longer get along, after Virgil had booked both of them on numerous shows without DiBiase's knowing. Virgil would use The Million Dollar Man's fame to increase his own chances of getting booked, only to inform organisers DiBiase was unable to attend at the last minute.
