10 Wrestlers Who Regret What They Did AFTER WWE

3. Sunny

Blonde, athletic, and sensual, Sunny was the first Diva in the WWE. For better or worse, she set the precedent for the way women would be shown on WWE programming for over two decades.

Originally debuting with her then-boyfriend, Chris ’Skip’ Candido and Dr Tom 'Zip' Prichard, the villainous group performed under a fitness fanatic gimmick, calling themselves The Bodydonnas. After the group captured the WWE Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania XII, Sunny’s gimmick became one of someone obsessed with managing championship teams, and over the next year, she went on to manage The Godwinns and The Smokin’ Gunns.

During her run in WWE, Sunny became incredibly popular. During her peak, a photo of her wearing a bikini became the most downloaded image from AOL in 1996.

Staying with the company until 1998, Sunny was involved in some controversy backstage. After being used in a jab between real-life enemies Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart, and having heat with WWE’s top Diva, Sable, Sunny left the WWE in 1998 on bad terms.

From there, Sunny, now performing under her real name Tammy Lynn Sytch, performed in ECW, WCW, and the independent circuit until retiring from wrestling in 2018.

After several arrests, and struggles with addiction, Sunny reverted back to using her sex appeal. In 2016, she appeared in her first adult movie.
