8. Rey Mysterio
Ah, Rey Mysterio, once one of the most incendiary, exciting pieces of talent WWE were able to provide. Even though many people knew the masked man would be a success in the company, most suspected it'd be as the star of the Cruiserweight division, but Mysterio would deliver jaw-dropping performance after jaw-dropping performance, eventually holding the World Title. Somewhere along the line, Mysterio seemed to start believing his own hype, and viewed the situation as WWE needing him far more than he needed them. Rightly believing he could earn a fortune by returning to his native Mexico, Rey pretty much slapped WWE in the face by talking about this during interviews whilst under contract. After this series of media appearances in 2012, WWE started to phase their masked hero out, looking harder than ever before for a replacement for him. Mysterio sullied his relationship with Vince McMahon's juggernaut due to his words, ones which were ill-advised and could hurt him in the future.
