2. Dolph Ziggler
Dolph Ziggler has history with The Authority that dates back further than 2014's Survivor Series event to SummerSlam 2013 - the night Triple H and Randy Orton cost Daniel Bryan the WWE Championship. On that same show, he revealed in a backstage interview that he "never trusted" The Game. Coincidentally enough, it wasn't long after that his career took a turn for the worse and he was losing to the likes of Fandango and Damien Sandow, spending most of 2014 in purgatory before aligning with John Cena to take it to The Authority. In one of the most epic conclusions to a WWE pay-per-view, he lastly eliminated Seth Rollins (with some help from Sting) to put The Authority out of power at Survivor Series. He'd reign as Intercontinental champion on several occasions in the months that followed, however, his latest run with the strap was cut short due to his "firing" on the January 5th edition of Raw. After being reinstated this past week, it appears he'll continue to be the focus of the angle going forward. While he may have gotten his job back, that doesn't mean The Authority won't make his life miserable by forcing him to enter the Royal Rumble at No. 1. The bleached blonde Superstar has entered as No. 1 twice before (in 2010 and 2013, respectively) and thrived on both occasions, so fighting an uphill battle wouldn't be anything out of the ordinary for the bleached blonde Superstar. Plus, him entering at No. 1 would hopefully make him the match's longest-tenured participant and would see him clash with several Superstars on the current roster. An excellent dark horse to win the Rumble, Ziggler kicking off the bout and surviving until the very end would be a nice swerve for anyone expecting him to get taken out early.
