10 Wrestlers Who Still Have Something To Prove In AEW
5. Private Party
Private Party wowed in an early win over The Young Bucks and for a brief moment we all thought we were looking at the future of tag team wrestling but since then they have failed to live up to that early promise.
Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen are both easily capable of moments to take your breath away but struggle to weave them seamlessly into a satisfying match. All too often you can see the strings.
Even prior to the empty arena era AEW didn’t run house shows. This was great for established stars not wanting to put their bodies through the wringer but posed a problem to less experienced performers who could have used the extra time between the ropes.
Private Party fall squarely into the second category and with indie shows also on hold it’s hard to see how they’ll make much progress without the extra seasoning they still need.
