10 Wrestlers Who Suffered The Most From WrestleMania 34

1. Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns
WWE

Having Roman Reigns fall to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania was an utterly perplexing move.

His victory wasn't necessarily something the fanbase wanted to see, but his loss effectively rendered three years of build null and void. All the effort put into presenting Reigns as 'The Guy' since the 2015 Royal Rumble was for nought, and to top it off, Roman was absolutely battered.

Lesnar dominated the majority of the match. He hit his opponent with six F-5's, creating a series of kickout spots designed to portray Reigns as a fighting underdog, and left him a bloodied mess. 'The Beast's' glancing MMA-style elbow sliced Roman open towards the end. This fired the challenger up, but not enough to turn the tide, and he was eventually left lying in a puddle of his own plasma.

This version of Roman Reigns is finished. He'll likely become Universal Champion at the Greatest Royal Rumble, but his legitimacy is shot to pieces, and the moment will come off even less credible than if he'd won at WrestleMania.

'The Guy' has nothing left, and it's time for a full-on rethink. Will we get one? Probably not, but WrestleMania 34 dealt irreparable damage to Roman's current persona.
