10 Wrestlers Who Were BEGGING To Be Fired

2. Scott Steiner

Charlotte Flair Middle Finger
WWE Network

The diva known as Buff Bagwell, who was examined earlier, was a pussycat compared to the tyranny Scott Steiner rained down on WCW towards the end of the promotion's shelf life. Put it this way: WWE would not have tolerated Steiner's antics, not even during the Wild West days of 'Attitude'.

'Big Poppa Pump' was a fearsome dude, and he bloody knew it.

Amongst other indiscretions, Steiner kicked lumps out of DDP during a pull apart brawl backstage and tore down Ric Flair over the mic live on Nitro. Battering Page and calling Flair a "jealous old bastard" earned Scotty a few fines and paid suspensions, but that was about it.

One has to wonder what it would've taken for WCW chiefs to say 'no more' and can Steiner. He was honestly asking for termination, but it'd never come. He reportedly terrified staff, mentioned Steve Austin and other WWF stars on TV, and generally intimidated the entire company.
