"Nice finish. I can't wait to kick out of it!".

That 2002 line, from Scott Hall to The Dudley Boyz (about their 3D move) has become iconic. Despite clearly being a joke, it did nothing to charm the WWF locker room or make them think that the ex-Razor Ramon would be a team player after coming in with his nWo buddies Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan.

It didn't take long for things with Scott to turn sour anyway. Hall was going through well-known substance abuse problems back then, and he cut the figure of somebody who blatantly couldn't be arsed any time he appeared on screen. It's actually mind-blowing that such indifference led to a WrestleMania match opposite 'Stone Cold'.

Scott's general behaviour became a weekly pain in the arse. He was phoning it in and causing problems on the road. The infamous 'Plane Ride From Hell' in May that year was the final straw for many - WWE's trip back across the Atlantic following a European tour would be Hall's last.
