10 Wrestlers Who Were Right To Walk Out On WWE

Whenever WWE speak of female equality today, Alundra Blayze must scoff.

She was there when the McMahon family had zero time for women's wrestling. Their apathy towards the Women's Title cut Alundra's quest to make it credible, and it forced her to seek employment elsewhere in WCW. There, Blayze controversially tossed the WWF's belt into the trash live on Monday Nitro.

Was that the right decision? Probably not (Blayze, renamed Madusa in WCW, was blacklisted by the WWF for years). Was Alundra right to walk out on McMahon and bite back against his ignorant dismissal of her work? Absolutely. Trying to fight for another gig in the company would've been foolish when they'd tossed her onto the scrapheap.

Blayze had to prove herself in WCW and show Vince what he was missing, and she likely enjoyed the reprisal of her feud with Bull Nakano. The WWF wouldn't take women's wrestling seriously until 2014-ish (maybe slightly later), and that validates Alundra's frustrations.
