10 Wrestlers Who Were Shoot PISSED As Soon As The Match Finished

1. Bret Hart

A nicer, kayfabe entry to round off the list all about - who else? - Bret Hart.

In most wrestling matches with a clean finish, the loser sells, having either been blasted to the canvas with an impact finisher or forced to tap out after being locked in an excruciating submission hold. As the winner celebrates, the loser, who can't steal focus nor disappear too quickly, has to lay there as if effectively dead. That, or in the event of being caught in a legitimate pinning combination, they appear incensed in the ring as the less-than-heroic babyface scarpers up the ramp having "stolen one".

Bret Hart's genius performance at the close of the Dream Team Vs. Million Dollar Team Survivor Series match embodied anti-"stole one" energy.

At the end of a scintillating exchange atypical of the WWF's 'Golden Era', DiBiase reversed the momentum of Hart's cross body block and rolled him up for three. Hart didn't sell it as a fluke because he recognised that he had been bested by a legitimate technique, and because this dented his pride, he could only mouth "F*ck!" when he was pissed with himself.

Perfect, creative selling beautiful in this context.
