10 Wrestlers Who Were Shoot PISSED As Soon As The Match Finished

Slight detour here, as it focuses on a performer who wasn't involved in the match itself.

At SummerSlam 2016, in a secretive plan known only to an important, shadowy subgroup of creative, Brock Lesnar drew blood the hard way from Randy Orton in a grisly PR stunt. The idea was to further legitimise Lesnar - despite it being plainly apparent that he had been built as the hardest man in WWE history by annihilating John Cena and breaking the Undertaker's WrestleMania streak - ahead of a pitched match against Shane f*cking McMahon at 'Mania 33. Lesnar bantered that idea off, mercifully.

Chris Jericho was so disgusted by the scene, whether Lesnar was explicitly instructed to open up a hole in Orton's head or had gone into business with himself, that he confronted Lesnar as soon as he stepped through the curtain. Lesnar laughed off the challenge, and, according to Jericho’s retelling of the story on the True Geordie podcast recently, went nose-to-nose with him and pelted him with homophobic slurs. Jericho was incensed, and knowing he was woefully outmatched still planned to bite Lesnar's nose off (!) on the way down to his arse.

Vince McMahon intervened and told Jericho he was being "worked," but this simply wasn't the case: Orton suffered a concussion.

Gory, relatively safe "self-mutilation" is bad, but actively dishing out head trauma is not?
