6. Angel Garza

Remember when people were predicting that Angel Garza could develop into this generation's Eddie Guerrero? Such comparisons are dangerous in their ambition, but it is always important to aim high. Anyway, those comparisons have been reduced to a whisper, as Garza has spent the last eternity taking on The Street Profits and arguing with Andrade, a feud that was ended in the laziest of circumstances. Angel Garza has stalled, to say the least.

All that is true, but the 2020 WWE Draft could end up being fantastic for Garza. Why? Well, it has less to do with any move of his own and more of those who moved around him. The Street Profits have gone to SmackDown, as has Zelina Vega. Andrade remains undrafted, but rumours suggest it could be a while before we see him on around on a consistent basis.

All of this leaves Garza free to shine on RAW, free to become the superstar he could quite easily develop into. Hopes of him becoming this generation's Eddie Guerrero might be a bit on the naive-side, but there's nothing stopping him becoming a genuinely big deal.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
