10 Wrestlers Who Will Benefit The Most From The WWE Draft 2020

5. Matt Riddle

Matt Riddle's legal situation remains to cast a dark shadow over his professional wrestling career, but WWE seems to be taking the 'innocent until proven guilty' route with the King of Bros. Riddle was a success on NXT but has floundered on SmackDown, doing a whole lot of nothing outside of trading wins and losses with King Corbin and saying 'bro' a lot, itself a depressing case of diminishing returns.

Can Riddle reinvigorate his main roster run on RAW? One can only hope. There was a time when Matt Riddle looked like a can't miss prospect, a potential generational star with huge mainstream crossover potential, a fountain of charisma with the in-ring ability to boot. Why hasn't he been a success on the main roster? It is easy to point the finger at Big Banter Baron Corbin, but it takes two to tango.

Riddle and Corbin have been separated in the draft, so it is time for Riddle to stand up and be counted in the shark pool that is WWE. He now has fresh opponents and fresh surroundings in which to thrive. Saying that, watch him feud with Elias for the next six months...

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
